“When I talk about the affordability crisis here in Florida, and the culture wars that Republican leaders have used to divide us, I want you to know that it’s personal to me. I grew up across Florida. But now, raising my own family, my wife and I have been forced to grapple with whether this is the right place to raise our kids. As Republican leadership attacks and defunds education, refuses to tackle gun violence, and launches culture wars to drive people apart rather than bringing us together, we all worry about our kids’ future.

That’s why I’m running for Governor: Because I know that it doesn’t have to be like this. Florida’s next chapter can start now. But only if we work for it.
