Sat. Nov. 16, “Consciousness Raising, Activism and Self-Care”, Delray Library downtown

On Saturday, November 16 from 11-12:30 at the Delray Beach Public Library downtown at 100 West Atlantic Avenue, we invite everyone to our special program on how to manage Consciousness Raising, Activism and Self-Care.  The President of the FAU Feminist Graduate Student Association and 2nd year MA student in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Annelyn Martinez, will define self-care and explore reasons why activists need to engage in healthy practices. Audience members will be given the tools to combat the pressures of today’s political climate. Our event is free and open to the public. Hope to see you there 🙂
