We’re in anxious times, and it’s not just adults who feel like they’re constantly on the verge of a panic attack. Our kids are facing a mental health crisis, too.
The sad reality is that young people today face immense pressure, from the threat of climate change and gun violence to the long-term impact of COVID and untreated trauma.
Watching a kid struggle with their mental health – be it silent tears, intrusive thoughts, acting out in school or full on physical illness – can leave a parent or teacher paralyzed and heartbroken, but that doesn’t mean there is nothing we can do.
Fortunately, there are experts out there who can help us understand what families, schools, and communities can do to support the young people in our lives, and on Tuesday, we’re going to talk about it.
Can you join us on Tuesday, October 21 at 7:30PM ET to hear psychiatrist Dr. Mathilde Ross share her wisdom with the Red Wine & Blue community?
