Gertrude Katherine Winsberg, a founding member of the South Palm Beach County chapter of the League of Women Voters, died peacefully June 15 under hospice care at her home in Boynton Beach. She was 93. She was an active member of the League for more than 60 years. [Trudy was also an active and generous member of PBC NOW.] She championed causes she believed in — women’s rights, farmworker justice and environmental conservation — with quiet consistency and real impact.
