On SATURDAY, MARCH 24 there are more than 589 planned events across America and abroad to support the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students initiated March for Our Lives. Students are demanding sensible and effective gun legislation in the U.S. Please take the opportunity to express your concern. Please fill your car with friends and family to let our politicians know that ending gun violence is everybody’s issue.
Below are local demonstrations planned, by county and city; if you know of more, let us know and we can list them as well:
BROWARD COUNTY:
PARKLAND: Meet
9:00 AM at Pine Trails Park,
10555 Trails End to demand lives of youth and safety by ending gun violence becomes a priority.
PALM BEACH COUNTY:
BOCA RATON: Meet at
10:30 at the Boca Raton City Hall,
201 West Palmetto Park Road, and march to the Amphitheater at Mizner Park, 590 Plaza Real.
WEST PALM BEACH: Meet at
2:00PM at Dreher Park,
1100 Southern Boulevard Entrance and march towards Mar-a-Lago as far east as security will allow. (Until travel plans from the White House are released, the actual route of the march will not be known.) Dreher Park can accommodate a large crowd, parking, and space to socialize and prepare for the march.
DELRAY BEACH: Meet at
10:15 AM at Atlantic Community High School,
2455 West Atlantic Avenue, to march at
10:45 to join the FREE All People’s Day Diversity Festival by
11:15 (see immediately below).

DELRAY BEACH: Meet
4:00 PM at Old School Square,
51 North Swinton Avenue, to march to the beach and close with a prayer circle on the beach.
BOYNTON BEACH: beginning at

BOYNTON BEACH: in progress: is another line will form along Jog Road by Woolbright Road.
BOYNTON BEACH: beginning at noon Cascade Lakes on the west side of Military Trail south of Golf Road – wear white tee shirts stating, “Grandparents Against Assault Rifles” and holding signs demanding that “Ban Assault Weapons NOW,” will rally outside of the community in support of students across the nation. Media presence expected.
