Florida NOW Lobby Week Itinerary

Join us as we advocate for our top legislative priorities and stand in solidarity with our allies. Florida NOW will participate in key events with the Florida Immigrant Coalition (FLIC) and Equality Florida (EQFL) while also conducting targeted lobby visits with our lobbyist, Barbara DeVane.
Monday, March 17 – Immigrant Day at the Capitol

Kick off Lobby Week by standing with immigrant communities for Immigrant Day at the Capitol. We will join FLIC in advocating for immigrant rights and justice. A full agenda will be provided closer to the event.
Tuesday, March 18 – Lobby Training & Capitol Meetings

- Walk to the Capitol Building to begin lobby visits with Florida NOW Lobbyist Barbara Devane.

- Continue lobby visits at the Capitol, meeting with lawmakers to advocate for Florida NOW’s Top 10 Priorities.
- If joining for the first time, you’ll be paired with a group and given a briefing.
- Volunteers will be asked to attend and speak at committee hearings when necessary.
