Book Discussion: Women in the Literary Landscape (not a NOW program)

March 21, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$10

From Andrea Baron, President of the South Florida chapter of the Women’s National Book Association, a national non-profit group for those who love and work with books.   (www.wnba-books.org):

“We are a new chapter and we are having a  program this month that I think would be of interest to NOW members.  We have published a book to celebrate our centennial year called Women in the Literary Landscape, which is a history of women in publishing.  It covers the contributions of women writers, editors, librarians, bookstore owners and others to the world of books.

“One of the contributors will be speaking about the book in Delray Beach on March 21st.   The speaker, Doris Weatherford, is a well-known historian and author, and has written several books on women’s history, including a volume on women in Florida.  We’d like to invite you and your membership to attend the meeting, and we’d look forward to meeting you and other members of your organization.  Here are the details:”
