With thanks to Arlene Ustin for sending this in:
Families Belong Together, Palm Beach County (March 2 Mar-a-Lago)
3901 S Flagler Dr, West Palm Beach, FL 33405–
JOIN US, and others in more than 1300 cities across the U.S. to march simultaneously, Saturday June 30th, in a MoveOn.org sanctioned protest against the egregious and inhumane border policies of this administration and DEMAND families be reunited. We will meet and assemble at the rally-point, on the NE corner of the intersection of Southern Blvd and S Flagler Dr (along the sea-wall, across from the Harbor Marina Apartments in front of the dock). Then we will head across the new bridge, occupying the North sidewalk, straight to Mar-a-Lago. We will send a message loud and clear, that these dastardly and cold-hearted policies will not be tolerated and we demand legislative change.
Families Belong Together opposes the cruel, inhumane and unjustified separation of children from their parents along the U.S. border with Mexico and at other ports of entry into the U.S. We protest the irreversible trauma that has already been perpetrated on at least 2,300 children and their parents for seeking escape the daily horrors – massive killings, drugs, gangs, guns, governments out of control, in their own country.
To separate immigrant families, victims of violence, hunger and poverty, is to re-violate them. Children as young as 18 months are torn from their mother’s arms by the U.S. government. These families are being victimized again by the U.S, the country to which they have turned to for help. March for the Stolen Children opposes the inhumane policies of the Trump Administration, Border Control, and I.C.E. and calls for immediate reform.
We hope you’ll join us and take a stand, which will reverberate across the nation.
