A knowledgeable panel will discuss in-depth what differentiates a person’s sex (the anatomy of the reproductive system and secondary sex characteristics) from a person’s gender (the cultural roles and identities constructed by oneself and society). It will address the basic biology and complex societal factors that are involved in understanding and inclusion.
